C90 1000mm lens, 50 FugiChrome, ~15th sec exposure, unguided.

It was completely overcast, with just a hint of pink near the horizon.  We were parked in a lot right at the seawall, waiting for some part of the eclipse to appear.  Convinced we were going to be skunked, we waited in the car out of the rain that had started coming down.  A half hour went by, then a whole hour, and no sign of the eclipse.  My eclipse time table said that maximum eclipse would happen in about 15 minutes, and still the clouds persisted.  Then, at about 10 minutes before maximum, the pink area got brighter, and suddenly, the first edge of the eclipse appeared!
